Acceptable use
Rules that keep the workspace safe and fair for everyone.
Beta terms. We will tell you before they change.
Last updated 28 October 2026
Why this exists
The workspace runs real code on shared infrastructure. These rules keep it safe and fair for everyone.
Do not
- Attack, probe or overload the service, other users, or any system you reach from a workspace. Do not try to escape the sandbox, read other users’ data or bypass limits.
- Use workspaces for crypto mining, spam, port scanning, running a public service, or any purpose other than practicing on the problem in front of you.
- Upload malware, illegal content or anything you do not have the right to share, or put other people’s secrets or personal data in a workspace.
- Scrape, copy or publish hidden tests, solutions or problem text, or share your account.
- Use the service to cheat in a real interview or assessment, or run it during one unless the interviewer allows it.
- Try to manipulate the grading, for example by hiding instructions to the AI grader in your code, comments or answers, or by tampering with tests.
- Use the AI features for anything the AI provider’s usage policy forbids (for our AI, the usage policies of our AI model providers).
- Create accounts to dodge a suspension or rate limit.
What we may do
We may rate-limit, pause or delete workspaces and suspend accounts that break these rules or threaten the service, and we may report unlawful activity. We try to warn you first when it is safe to do so.
