Terms of service
The rules for using the service, in plain English. Draft for the private beta.
Beta terms. We will tell you before they change.

Who we are
These terms are between you and AICodingRound ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
The service
We provide practice problems that run in a cloud workspace (editor, terminal, tests, preview), the option to use your own AI tools inside it, and reports that grade your work. Hidden tests and, for some parts of the report, an AI model do the grading (see “Reports and scores”).
The service is in private beta. It is free, may change or break, and we may remove problems, features or accounts. Nothing in the beta is a promise of a paid plan, price or feature.
Your account
You must be at least 13 and give us a real email address. Keep your password and two-factor codes to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it was accessed by someone else.
Beta access needs an invite. An invite is tied to the email address it was sent to, works once and expires after 7 days. Do not share or sell invites.
If you start no round within 14 days of joining, your beta seat may go back to the waitlist. Your account, reports and data stay, and you can rejoin the waitlist with one click. Fair-use limits apply to how many rounds you can start in a day.
Your code and your content
You own the code you write, the prompts you send, your answers and anything you upload (“your content”). You give us a license to store, process and display it to run the service for you: run your tests, grade your round, produce your report, and keep a record of your session so you can review it.
We may use anonymised, aggregated results (for example, how often a problem is solved) to improve problems and grading. We will not publish your code or your reports without your say-so, and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Our content
Problems, hidden tests, reference solutions, reports, design and software are ours or our licensors’. You may use them for your own practice. You may not copy, resell, scrape or publish the problems, hidden tests or solution pages, or use them to train a model.
Some problems and practice apps are built on open-source code. That code keeps its original license, which is included in the workspace, and real-bug problems list their source. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licenses.
Solution pages carry an invisible mark tied to your account, so that a copy published elsewhere can be traced back to the account it came from.
Using AI in the service
The AI parts of grading run on AI models from third-party AI model providers (and our own AI panel does too, in any round that offers it). In the workspace you can use your own AI subscription or API key; then your prompts and the files that AI reads are sent to the provider you choose, under that provider’s terms.
AI output can be wrong. Check it. You are responsible for what you submit.
Reports and scores
Reports are produced automatically and are practice feedback only. They can be wrong, they are not a certification or a reference from us, and they do not predict how you will do in a real interview. Do not present a report or share card as an endorsement by us.
If you think a grade is wrong, write to hello@aicodinground.com and a person will look at it.
Acceptable use
Follow our acceptable use policy. In short: do not attack the service or other users, do not mine crypto, do not use the workspace as a general-purpose server, and do not use the service to cheat in a real interview.
Interview practice and third parties
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company named on this site. Their names are used only to describe the interview format being practiced. Interview formats are our practice versions of what has been publicly described. They do not predict what you will be asked, and we make no promise about interview or job outcomes.
Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you use the service as a consumer, you keep the rights that the law of the country where you live gives you.
Ending things
You can delete your account in settings at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put the service or others at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive (content license, liability, governing law) do.
Changes and contact
We will tell you by email or in the app before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Questions: hello@aicodinground.com.
