Learn the booking service

Goal

You've just joined the team that owns this service: a small FastAPI + SQLite API for booking the office meeting rooms (Orion, Lyra and Vega). Before you pick up your first ticket, your lead wants to be sure you understand how it really works.

Answer the questions in the Answers panel. You can use the AI assistant, read the code, run the tests and call the API from the terminal or the preview; your answers are checked against how the code actually behaves, not against what the README or a comment says.

There is nothing to fix and nothing to build. Don't change the code to make an answer come out the way you'd like; answer for the code as it is.

How answers are checked

• Numbers, status codes and file paths are checked exactly (case, spaces and quotes don't matter).
• For a code location, give the file and the function, like path/to/file.py:function_name.
• For a multiple-choice question, pick one option.
• Short free-text answers are compared with the answer key; if yours is worded differently, a reviewer reads it, so explain briefly and precisely.
• Every answer in the key was produced by running this exact code. If you're unsure, run it.
