How does pricing really behave in prod?

Goal
You're on call for the storefront this week. Two odd reports came in: finance says some invoices were
taxed with the old flat rate, and an admin says price changes "take a while" to show up. Before anyone
touches the code, answer these questions about how it really behaves in production (the production
environment is in README.md).
Answer in the Answers panel. Use the AI assistant, read the code, run the tests or a quick Python snippet in the terminal; answers are checked against what the code actually does, not what a comment or the README promises. There is nothing to fix. Aim for about 10 minutes.
How answers are checked
- Numbers and keys are checked exactly (case, spaces and quotes don't matter).
- For a code location, give the file and the function, like
path/to/file.py:function_name. - For a multiple-choice question, pick one option.
- Every answer in the key was produced by running this exact code. If you're unsure, run it.
