FIN-441: October numbers don't match the bank
Reported by: Dara Whitfield (Finance, Quillfeather Stationery) · Priority: High · Component: Month-end close
Symptom
At the October close the revenue query reports 15 successful payments worth $733.50. Our bank settled 19 payments worth $916.50 for October (statement attached). The 4 payments we are missing are all from the last day of the month, Saturday 31 October. September and August closed fine.
Steps to reproduce
Run the monthly revenue query for October 2026 on the sample data and compare it with the bank's settlement list for 28 to 31 October.
Expected
19 payments, $916.50: every successful payment made in October, up to the last second of the 31st.
Actual
15 payments, $733.50.
